Pizza Maker cum Sandwich & Pasta Maker We are looking for a skilled Pizza Maker to prepare high-quality and well-designed pizzas preferably with Italian Pizza style, and is also capable of making delicious Sandwiches, and Pasta. The responsibilities include preparing pizza dough, cutting, grating, or slicing various ingredients to be used as toppings, and removing pizza debris from the pizza ovens, sandwich preparation, receives customers\' requests, sandwich dressing, meats, fruits & vegetable preparation, and etc.. You should also be able to maintain a clean workstation at all times. To be successful on this job, you should ensure that kitchen safety protocol is properly followed. Ultimately, should be able to train and mentor kitchen staff. Prepares food for clients. Helps devise new methods of cooking and new menu items. Streamlines work from the back of the house to the front of the house and are flexible in doing catering. Responsibilities:
- Preparing pizza dough, sauces, and various toppings, such as tomatoes, peppers, mushrooms, onions, and meats.
- Monitoring the temperature of the pizza ovens as well as cooking times.
- Preparing high-quality pizzas according to company recipes.
- Monitoring inventory and placing orders for more supplies as needed / restocking supplies.
- Cleaning workstations before and after pizza or sandwich preparation.
- Ensuring that all utensils and cooking equipment are sterilized before each use.
- Plating or packaging pizzas accordingly.
- Managing all food order slips and ensuring that customers\xe2\x80\x99 orders are completed in a timely manner.
- Disposing of expired or spoiled ingredients at the end of each shift.
- Line Cooking \xe2\x80\x93 be able to cook, mix, and season ingredients, dressings, fillings, and various sandwich spreads. Fry steaks, eggs, bacon, and other meats for hot sandwiches
- Be able to make a garnish for sandwiches and be able to slice cold meats and cheese by hand or machine.
- Can perform cashier duties
- Be able to interact and serve customers
- Experienced in making varieties of pizzas, sandwiches, or any other Italian dishes.
- A food handler\xe2\x80\x99s license is not required but preferred.
- Proven experience food preparation and food handling experience.
- Working knowledge of proper food handling procedures.
- The ability to follow standardized recipes.
- The ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- The ability to work in a team.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Exceptional Customer Service Skills / Telecommunication Skills \xe2\x80\x93 can answer phone calls and with proper speaking and listening skills
- Interpersonal Skills \xe2\x80\x93 patient, attentiveness, knowledge in making sandwiches, pasta, pizza, and be able to be creative in crafting them. Be able to collaborate ideas and adapt with the team.
- Good menu & recipe memorization skills
- Organizational Skills is a MUST
- Has prior knowledge with Point-Of-Sale (POS) Systems
