Job Summary:

We are looking for a skilled and passionate

Pizza Chef

with at least

1 year of experience

to join our kitchen team. The ideal candidate will be experienced in preparing, cooking, and presenting high-quality pizzas using fresh ingredients and authentic techniques. You will be responsible for maintaining kitchen standards, ensuring food safety, and delivering an exceptional dining experience to our customers.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare pizza dough, sauces, and toppings according to recipes and restaurant standards. Cook pizzas in traditional or modern ovens, ensuring consistency in quality, taste, and presentation. Manage pizza preparation stations and ensure ingredients are fresh and properly stored. Monitor food stock levels and communicate with the storekeeper for restocking needs. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in compliance with health and safety regulations. Assist in menu planning, including creating new pizza recipes . Ensure timely preparation and delivery of all orders, maintaining efficiency during peak hours. Work collaboratively with kitchen and service staff to ensure smooth operations.

Requirements:

Proven experience as a Pizza Chef, or similar role. Strong knowledge of pizza dough preparation, fermentation, and baking techniques. Familiarity with different oven types (wood-fired, gas, or electric). Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced kitchen environment. Attention to detail and commitment to quality and consistency. Excellent time management and organizational skills. Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.

Preferred Qualifications:

Culinary degree or relevant certification (optional but an asset). Experience with Italian cuisine or in a high-volume restaurant setting.
