Prepare, cook, and present a variety of pizzas and pasta dishes according to restaurant standards and recipes.
Ensure dough preparation, proofing, stretching, and topping application are carried out with consistency and quality.
Cook pasta dishes with appropriate sauces, seasonings, and garnishes.
Maintain high standards of food hygiene, safety, and sanitation in the kitchen.
Monitor stock levels of ingredients and report shortages to the kitchen supervisor/chef.
Ensure proper storage of ingredients and maintain freshness.
Assist in menu development by suggesting new pizza and pasta recipes.
Handle kitchen equipment properly and safely.
Work collaboratively with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations during service.
Adhere to portion control, minimize food wastage, and follow cost-control measures.
Maintain cleanliness of workstations, ovens, and cooking areas at all times.
Comply with HACCP, municipality food safety regulations, and hotel/restaurant policies.
