Position Summary: Piping Material Engineer for Abu Dhabi, UAE ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Essential Functions Statement(s) . Create and/or develop Piping Material Specification / Goby, review client documents, specifications, requirements and its applicable international codes and standards. . Manage multiple projects. . Thorough understanding of client project scope and specifications. . Provide a team of drafters, checks and other with all information necessary to process pipe spool fabrication drawings for multiple fabrication facilities. . Communicate and resolve with client any issues pertaining to questions/conflicts regarding scope, specifications, and client drawings. . Thorough understanding of shop methods using the fabrication of pipe spools. . Familiar with and utilize department standards, procedures, and guidelines. . Assist Engineering Co-Ordinator / Team leader for their technical difficulties. . Co-ordinate with Project Interface Engineer for modifications, priority issuance of spool drawings, missing data from Client. . Able to demonstrate sufficient technical knowledge and awareness of details to be able to recognize when technical problems are developing in the various teams, and to initiate appropriate corrective actions. . Review the client RFQ and Epic Proposals from beginning to end. . Attends all the company-organized training courses when invited. . Be aware of and obey the Company Health, Safety and Environmental, and Quality rules & perform the activities. Competency Statement(s)

Good technical knowledge on mechanical / piping material engineering. Good technical knowledge in piping engineering. Well conversant with oil and gas engineering practices and in particular pipe fabrication technology. Good time management skills. Familiarity with codes and standards of ASTM, ASME, and PFI. Familiarity with various metallurgies. Understanding of non-destructive examination methods, heat treatments, paint, and welding procedures. Should possess general knowledge of the theory, content and application of statutory codes and guidelines related to Epic Piping operations. Proactive approach, confidence, and desire to tackle challenges. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite Strong oral and written English communication skills SKILLS & ABILITIES

Education: Academic Education to BS Level Minimum in Engineering and Membership of an appropriate professional engineering body is preferred. Experience: Minimum of 8 Years in Engineering Minimum of 3 years in Piping Material Engineering. Minimum of 2 years in Middle East preferably UAE Other Requirements:
