Job Title: Piping Engineer



Project:

Procure, Supply, Fabrication, Installation & Commissioning of Emergency Loading / Unloading Skids

Role Overview:



The Piping Engineer will be responsible for the

complete design, engineering, and technical integrity

of process piping systems for loading and unloading skids, ensuring full compliance with

Saudi Aramco standards

, international codes, and NJBP operational requirements.

Detailed Scope of Responsibility:Design & Engineering



Perform detailed design and engineering of

process piping systems

for skid-mounted fuel handling facilities Select piping materials suitable for

petroleum products and Jet-A

, considering pressure, temperature, corrosion, and safety requirements Ensure compliance with:

SAES-P-100 / SAES-P-111

ASME B31.3

SAES-M-200 (Materials)


Piping Layout Development



Develop piping layouts with strong focus on: Proper

drainability and venting

Elimination of

dead legs

Correct

sloping

, flexibility, and thermal expansion control Adequate

accessibility

for operation, inspection, and maintenance Coordinate piping routing with structural, civil, electrical, and instrumentation disciplines

Valves & Specialty Items



Select and specify valves including:

Emergency Shut Down (ESD) valves

Double Block & Bleed (DBB) valves

Ball valves, check valves, and control valves

Specify strainers, filters, expansion joints, hoses, and special fittings as required

Stress Analysis & Technical Support



Identify piping systems requiring

stress analysis

Coordinate with stress engineers and review stress analysis reports Ensure flexibility and support philosophy complies with Aramco standards

Key Engineering Deliverables:



Piping layout drawings Isometric drawings (shop and field) Line list and valve list Material Take-Off (MTO) Piping material specifications and class sheets Pressure testing packages (hydrostatic and pneumatic) Flushing, cleaning, and drying procedures Engineering change notices (ECN) As-built drawings and final documentation

Construction, Commissioning & Handover:



Provide technical support during

fabrication, installation, and site erection

Participate in

pre-commissioning and commissioning activities

, including pressure testing and system handover Support

final acceptance

and close-out documentation in coordination with Aramco and NJBP teams

Qualifications & Experience:



Bachelor's Degree in

Mechanical or Piping Engineering

Minimum

8-10 years

of piping engineering experience Proven experience on

Saudi Aramco projects

is mandatory Strong experience in

skid-mounted systems, fuel handling, and terminal facilities

Familiarity with

Aramco approval processes, document control, and audits


Key Skills & Competencies:



Strong knowledge of

Saudi Aramco piping standards

Proficiency in

AutoCAD

, piping design tools, and isometric software Solid understanding of

process design and piping hydraulics

Excellent coordination and multidisciplinary interface skills Strong problem-solving and technical decision-making abilities Effective communication skills in

English

(Arabic is an advantage) Transferable Iqama
