About this role

Provide mechanical and piping and layout engineering knowledge, design, quality assurance and expertise as a member of the Company decommissioning team;
Responsible for the mechanical, piping and layout related to decommissioning work schedule and related milestones;
Responsible for updating drawings related to decommissioning of plant and pipework offshore, as part of the decommissioning team;
Accountable for knowledge of and sharing previous lessons learned, capturing, and communicating current lessons learned to support review teams and future projects;
Ensure the contractors\xe2\x80\x99 layouts and design meet the Company\xe2\x80\x99s standards;
Ensure effective communication between the Design Team and Production Offshore, focusing in on key layout issues;
Role model for conducting offshore surveys and reports;
Ensure the Company\xe2\x80\x99s designs consider major issues such as access, egress, operability, constructability and maintainability;
Act as the Client Representative in the contractor\xe2\x80\x99s reviews.

What you need to bring

Ordinary National Certificate (ONC) or Higher National Certificates (HNC) in engineering or equivalent;
Minimum 10 years\xe2\x80\x99 engineering experience on similar position with a broad knowledge of engineering execution including design standards, specifications, codes, safety criteria, offshore facilities design, construction, and operations;
Working knowledge and experience in offshore oil and gas industry codes, specifications, and practices, and of International Standards and Specifications including various equipment certifications;
Effective verbal and written English language communication skills ensuing effective report writing skills;
Comfortable to communicate, with the ability to influence, with personnel of all levels whilst working in a remote and multi-cultured environment;
Expert User in 3D AutoCAD;
Extensive Offshore survey experience.
