Responsibilities:
Receive picking orders from supervisors and prioritize tasks based on urgency and deadlines.
Retrieve products from designated storage areas using picking equipment such as hand-held scanners, pallet jacks, or forklifts.
Verify product information, quantities, and specifications against picking orders to ensure accuracy and completeness.
Package items securely and efficiently according to company standards and customer requirements, using appropriate packaging materials and techniques.
Label packages with shipping labels, barcodes, and other identifying information, ensuring clear and accurate labeling for tracking and identification purposes.
Inspect packaged items for quality, integrity, and compliance with packaging standards and specifications.
Organize and stage completed orders for pickup or delivery, coordinating with shipping and logistics teams as needed.
Maintain cleanliness and organization in the picking and packaging area, including removing empty containers, disposing of waste materials, and keeping workstations tidy.
Follow safety procedures and guidelines to prevent accidents, injuries, and damage to products or equipment.
Collaborate with team members and supervisors to address any issues or challenges related to order fulfillment and packaging operations.
Participate in training sessions and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance skills and knowledge in picking and packaging processes.

Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent qualification required; additional education or training in warehouse operations or logistics preferred.
Previous experience in picking, packing, or warehouse operations preferred but not required; we welcome candidates with a strong work ethic and a willingness to learn.
Ability to read and interpret picking orders, product labels, and packing instructions accurately.
Attention to detail and precision in handling and packaging items to prevent damage or errors.
Physical stamina and agility to stand, walk, lift, and carry items for extended periods and maneuver in tight spaces as needed.
Basic math skills and proficiency in using hand-held scanners or inventory management systems.
Strong communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues and supervisors.
Commitment to safety, quality, and efficiency in all aspects of picking and packaging operations.
Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, based on business needs.
