to deliver high-quality rehabilitative care for elderly residents in our nursing home. The physiotherapist will be responsible for assessing, planning, and implementing physiotherapy interventions to enhance mobility, manage pain, and improve overall quality of life, in compliance with UAE healthcare regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct detailed physical and functional assessments of residents.
Develop individualized physiotherapy care plans based on clinical findings.
Administer therapies including exercises, mobility training, and pain management techniques.
Guide and educate residents, families, and caregivers on proper movement techniques and preventive measures.
Monitor, evaluate, and document patients' progress; adjust treatment plans as needed.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams (nursing, medical, and caregiving staff) to ensure holistic care.
Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with DHA/MOH/DOH standards.
Adhere to all health and safety protocols, infection control policies, and ethical practices.
Qualifications and Licensing Requirements:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Physiotherapy from a recognized institution.
Valid DHA, MOH, or DOH license
(or eligibility letter) to practice as a Physiotherapist in the UAE.
Minimum
2-3 years of physiotherapy experience
, preferably in geriatric care or a nursing home setting.
Strong understanding of UAE healthcare compliance standards and patient rights.
Excellent interpersonal, communication, and documentation skills.
