DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Examine patients to assess mobility, strength, communication, or cognition.
• Assess characteristics of patients’ pain such as intensity, location, or duration using standardized clinical measures.
• Provide inpatient or outpatient medical management of neuromuscular disorders, musculoskeletal trauma, acute and chronic pain, deformity or amputation, cardiac or pulmonary disease, or other disabling conditions.
• Monitor effectiveness of pain management interventions such as medication or spinal injections.
• Develop comprehensive plans for immediate and long-term rehabilitation including therapeutic exercise; speech and occupational therapy; counseling; cognitive retraining; patient, family or caregiver education; or community reintegration.
• Coordinate physical medicine and rehabilitation services with other medical activities.

WORKING CONDITION

• Working Hours: 48 Hours / Week
• Working Days: 6 Days / Week
• Shifts: Straight Shifts, Morning AND Afternoon
• Contract Period 1 Year Renewable
• Family Contract: Candidate, Wife or Husband and 2 Kids
• On Call Duties: Divided per the number of consultants

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

• Primary Medical Qualifications: Doctor of Medicine (MD); Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS); Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBChB) or Equivalent from recognized by the Medical Council of the country of origin.
• Training/Residency: completion of residency training / Fellowship in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation
• License: Valid and Active DHA License / Eligibility Letter

OTHER REQUIREMENTS

• Languages: English and Arabic
• Age not to exceed 55 years old

• Gross Monthly Salary: NEGOTIABLE (Varies Based on Qualifications, Years of Experience and Clinical Privileges) Gross Salary is inclusive basic salary, housing and transportation.
