Job Description

As a Photographer/Videographer with The Only Dandy, you'll be responsible for covering live events, capturing high-quality photo and video content, and producing short-form content suitable for platforms such as Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube Shorts. This role requires creativity, adaptability, and a proactive mindset to work independently on-site -- often in dynamic, fast-paced environments.

Key Responsibilities

Event Coverage:

Capture high-quality photos and videos at events, including behind-the-scenes moments, talent performances, audience reactions, and brand visuals.

Content Editing:

Edit raw footage and images into polished content aligned with our brand tone and visual identity for social media and marketing use.

Content Delivery:

Ensure timely delivery of edited content, often with quick turnaround times for use during and shortly after events.

Pre-Event Coordination:

Understand the event schedule and brief to prepare for shots, transitions, lighting challenges, and movement flow.

On-Site Agility:

Move freely and discreetly around event sites to capture key moments without disrupting event flow.

Collaborate with Creative Team:

Coordinate with the social media team to ensure content fits campaign needs, and with event managers to align with on-site schedules.

Requirements

Experience:

1-2 years of experience in photography/videography, preferably within events and entertainment content creation.

Technical Knowledge:

Proficient with DSLR cameras; understanding of lighting, audio, and framing in live event settings.

Editing Software:

Basic to intermediate proficiency with Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, Lightroom, or similar editing tools.

Mobility:

Must be comfortable traveling to event sites across UAE and working on-site at the event location.

Work Hours:

Availability for late evenings, weekends, and flexible hours based on event timings.

Portfolio:

A strong portfolio showcasing previous event work, social media edits, or video reels is

required
