Videographer & Photographer Our 12year old media agency seeks an enthusiastic and talented videographer and photographer to join our team full time. The successful candidate will demonstrate an ability and eagerness to generate videos and photos from short clips to long-form storytelling that convey our story in innovative, authentic, memorable, and captivating ways. This position is key to furthering the rzd holdings communication and marketing objectivesReporting to the Director of Communications, the Videographer will be involved in a wide range of projects that strengthen and enhance the RZD brand. This is primarily a Videographer position. Preference will be given to candidates with photography skills. Additional skills such as design, social media, marketing, product photography, fashion photography and animation will also be considered. We are seeking an enterprising professional who is up-to-date on photo/video trends in marketing, and is driven to creatively capture all that RZD offers, from events and activities. Photography and videos will be used on the RZD website, in print publications, in advertising, in public relations outreach, across social media platforms, in email communications, and in other media as needs arise. - Shoot, edit, and produce video for the RZD websites, social media platforms, print publications, email communications, public relations outreach, advertisements, special events, meetings/presentations, and other media as needs arise. Contribute photos as experience and expertise allow.
- Generate high-quality still images and videos worthy of wide audiences that showcase RZD programs, people, events, and other offerings.
- Receive and manage all RZD video and photography requests. Schedule, organize, and manage video and photo shoots. Maintain a video and photo shoot calendar.
- Brainstorm and suggest ideas for adding a photo or video component to publications, stories, and other promotional efforts.
- Experience and Education Requirements:
- 1-3 years of experience in video and digital photography, preferably in a media agency.
- Previous experience working for media is a plus.Skills and Qualifications:
- Demonstrated proficiency in Adobe programs including Photoshop, Premiere, Lightroom, and After Effects.
- Ability to expertly operate mid- to high-level cameras, video cameras, microphones, and lighting.
- Demonstrated proficiency and passion for modern photography and videography styles.
- Enthusiasm for a variety of image styles and a commitment to quality work across genres.
- Must be dependable, respectful, self-motivated, adaptable, efficient, and personable.
