Job SummaryReporting into production manager, the ecommerce photographer role plays an integral role in shooting all web-based product imagery and seasonal creatives for social and blog. Utilizing extensive range of technical equipment, including cameras, lenses, lighting and specialist software to execute high-quality digital photography for multiple ecommerce product categoriesCore Responsibilities: Shoot both mannequin and model ecommerce product imagery. Direct model posing, composing all mannequin product shoots for maximum commercial appeal. Maintaining high standards, following photography set guidelines. Shoot creatives to support content for all web channels, including social and blog. Conducts lighting and quality tests prior to shooting. Catalog and manage multiple images in digital asset system. Ensures urgent image issues are addressed. Actions priorities and sets daily workload per product batch received. Self-Management:Defines performance goals at the start of the year in discussion with the reporting manager and ensures that the goals are achieved during the course of the year Takes ownership of his/her own learning agenda by identifying development needs in consultation with the manager and agreeing on the individual development plan which goes beyond just training and development Keeps abreast of professional developments, new techniques and current issues through continued education and professional growthEducational Qualifications Bachelors degree of Fine Arts in Professional Photography or equivalent work experience A keen interest in sportswear and action photography is highly desirable 2+ years of photography experience 1+ year in digital photography preferred 1+ year in photo studio setting in ecommerce Experience Advanced skills in Adobe Creative Suite (Light room, Photoshop and InDesign). Capture One Pro Excellent knowledge of Mac computer platform Proficient with Microsoft office applications, including intermediate capabilities with Excel, Word and Outlook email Knowledge of operating a studio camera and lighting equipment, including set-up.
