Job Summary:

We are seeking a

creative and detail-oriented Photo Editor Specialist

to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for editing, retouching, and enhancing images to ensure they align with our brand aesthetic, marketing goals, and publishing standards. You will work closely with photographers, designers, and marketing teams to deliver visually impactful and high-quality images across various platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

Edit and retouch photos using tools like

Adobe Photoshop, Lightroom, or equivalent software

Ensure consistency in style, tone, and quality across all visual assets Manipulate photos to enhance subjects (e.g., background removal, color correction, light adjustment) Prepare images for digital publication (web, social media, ads) and print Collaborate with photographers, graphic designers, and marketing teams Organize and manage a digital asset library for easy retrieval and archiving Meet tight deadlines while maintaining high quality and attention to detail Stay up to date with visual trends, editing tools, and techniques

Requirements:

Proven experience as a Photo Editor or in a similar creative role Strong portfolio showcasing photo editing and retouching work Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (especially Photoshop and Lightroom) Knowledge of color theory, composition, lighting, and visual storytelling Basic understanding of photography and file formats (RAW, JPEG, TIFF, etc.) Excellent time management and organizational skills High attention to detail and commitment to quality Ability to work both independently and in a team

Preferred Qualifications:

Background in Photography, Visual Arts, Graphic Design, or a related field Experience with video editing or motion graphics is a plus Familiarity with brand guidelines and commercial photo usage rights
