Job Description
Via Medica International Healthcare is seeking a skilled and compassionate Phlebotomist to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for collecting blood samples from patients with care, accuracy, and professionalism, ensuring comfort and safety throughout the process.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform venipuncture and capillary blood collection safely and efficiently.
- Prepare, label, and ensure proper handling of blood samples for laboratory testing.
- Maintain accurate patient records and update documentation as required.
- Follow strict infection control and safety procedures.
- Provide excellent patient care and address concerns with empathy and professionalism.
- Support laboratory staff and medical professionals as needed.
- Diploma/Degree in Nursing, Medical Laboratory, or related healthcare field.
- Certification in Phlebotomy (where applicable).
- DOH licensed
- 2 years' proven experience in blood collection and specimen handling in the UAE (a must).
- Strong attention to detail, organizational, and communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
- Compassionate and patient-centered approach.
- Salary based on clinical assessment
