: * Performing the work which is assigned, ensuring that it meets all standards as required by ISO 15189: 2012.
- Identifies the patient - comparing patient information on the requisition to the patient's identification before venipuncture is performed.
- Performs venipunctures and skin punctures competently and expediently.
- Must have the complete knowledge about which color top tube to use and the volume of blood needed - knows test requirements, assists in Clinical Laboratory as needed.

Qualifications: * Certificate of training in an approved Phlebotomy program or Diploma (1 year) Medical Laboratory Technology or Degree in any health-related field.
- Minimum of one (1) year practical experience as Phlebotomist in a reputed Medical Laboratory.
- Currently licensed in country of origin and with DOH license to practice in Abu Dhabi UAE.
- Fluent in spoken & written English, Arabic language is desirable, but not essential.
- Ability to learn and handle automation & IT programs is desirable but not essential.
