Job Summary:

We are seeking a dynamic and dedicated Assistant Professor to join our client's Hospitality and Tourism faculty in Ras Al Khaimah. The ideal candidate will hold a PhD in a relevant discipline and possess at least 3 years of teaching and/or industry experience. The faculty member will be responsible for delivering high-quality instruction, engaging in academic research, mentoring students, and contributing to the development of the department.

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver undergraduate and postgraduate courses in Hospitality and Tourism Management. Develop course materials, lesson plans, and assessments aligned with academic standards. Supervise student research projects, internships, and dissertations. Engage in scholarly research and publish in peer-reviewed academic journals. Participate in curriculum review and program development initiatives. Collaborate with industry partners and contribute to community engagement. Provide academic advising and mentorship to students. Serve on academic committees and participate in departmental and university events.

Qualifications and Experience:

PhD in Hospitality Management, Tourism Studies, or a closely related field (mandatory). Minimum 3 years of teaching experience at the university level or equivalent industry experience. Proven record of academic research and publications. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Experience with learning management systems and modern teaching methodologies is a plus. Ability to work collaboratively in a multicultural academic environment.

Preferred Skills:

Strong understanding of global hospitality and tourism trends. Experience in international accreditation and quality assurance processes. Familiarity with blended or online learning platforms. Ability to link theory with practical industry applications.
