Position Overview
Al-Futtaim Health is seeking a motivated Pharmacy Technician (Emiratization) to support licensed pharmacists in delivering safe, accurate, and high-quality pharmaceutical care within HealthHub Clinics in Dubai. This role plays a vital part in medication preparation, dispensing support, inventory control, and patient assistance, while ensuring full compliance with DHA regulations and internal quality standards.

Key Responsibilities
Assist pharmacists in preparing, compounding, packaging, labeling, and dispensing medications under direct supervision
Receive and process prescriptions accurately, ensuring pharmacist verification prior to dispensing
Maintain pharmacy inventory, monitor stock levels, and report shortages or expired items
Prepare sterile IV medications and extemporaneous preparations as directed
Process insurance claims, billing, and maintain accurate dispensing and inventory records
Provide patients with clear instructions on medication usage and refer complex queries to the pharmacist
Ensure compliance with pharmacy laws, DHA regulations, and safety protocols, including controlled medication handling rules
Maintain cleanliness, organization, and safety of the pharmacy environment
Participate in quality assurance, safety initiatives, and process improvement activities
Engage in ongoing professional development and DHA-required training
Ideal Profile
UAE national with a Diploma or Certificate in Pharmacy Technician studies from an accredited institution
Holds a valid DHA Pharmacy Technician license or eligibility
Fresh graduates under Emiratization are encouraged to apply
Strong sense of responsibility, confidentiality, and professional conduct
Skills Set
Knowledge of medication names, pharmaceutical calculations, and basic medical terminology
Strong organizational and documentation skills
Clear communication skills for patient and team interaction
Computer literacy and familiarity with pharmacy management systems
