The ideal candidate will provide pharmaceutical care services by preparing and dispensing medications, monitoring drug therapies, and educating patients on the proper use of medications. Duties: - Dispense prescription medications to patients and offer expertise in the safe use of prescriptions
- Advise patients on general health topics such as diet, exercise, and managing chronic conditions
- Collaborate with healthcare providers to develop and implement individualized medication therapy plans
- Maintain accurate patient records, including information on prescribed medications
- Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and professional standards Qualifications: - Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D.) degree from an accredited pharmacy program
- Active pharmacist license in the state of practice
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology and pharmacology
- Experience in acute care settings or hospital pharmacy preferred
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective patient care
