Job Title: Pharmacist - Logistics Quality Assurance Manager

Purpose of the Job
The Pharmacist - Warehouse Quality Assurance Lead is responsible for ensuring the effective management and compliance of all pharmaceutical products within the warehouse. This role oversees the storage, handling, and distribution of pharmaceuticals in accordance with regulatory guidelines, company policies, and industry best practices. The individual in this role will work closely with the logistics and supply chain teams to maintain high standards of product quality and regulatory compliance.

Quality Assurance:

  • Oversee the implementation of quality assurance procedures for the storage, handling, and distribution of pharmaceutical products.
  • Ensure compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), Good Distribution Practices (GDP), and other applicable regulatory requirements.
  • Regularly inspect warehouse operations, ensuring that all products are stored and handled according to specific temperature, humidity, and safety conditions.
  • Conduct routine audits and inspections of warehouse facilities to identify and resolve quality issues or non-compliance.
Regulatory Compliance:
  • Ensure adherence to local, national, and international pharmaceutical regulations, including documentation and reporting requirements.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of pharmaceutical industry regulations and ensure that the warehouse team is properly trained on compliance matters.
  • Prepare and submit necessary reports for regulatory bodies as required.
Inventory Management and Documentation:
  • Ensure that all pharmaceutical products are accurately logged and tracked within the inventory system, including proper labelling and record-keeping.
  • Oversee the management of expired or damaged products, ensuring proper disposal in compliance with regulatory guidelines.
  • Maintain accurate records of all quality checks, audits, and inspections performed within the warehouse.
Job Requirements - Experience and Education
  • A bachelor's degree in pharmacy (PharmD or equivalent).
  • Certified Pharmacist from Dubai Health Authority (DHA) is mandatory.
  • At least 5-6 years of experience in pharmaceutical logistics, warehouse management, or quality assurance in a related field.
