Job Description

Dispensing medicines and medical consumables to ambulance staff, while explaining methods for using and storing medicines in ambulances and ambulance stations.

Providing pharmaceutical information to the ambulance team and responding to their related inquiries.

Receiving and storing medicines and pharmaceuticals in warehouses according to supplier recommendations and continuously monitoring their validity.

Entering and updating data on medicines and pharmaceuticals, ensuring accuracy, and recording the daily movement of all drug categories in the approved system.

Dispensing stored medicines to specialists (emergency physician, nurse, advanced paramedic) in accordance with the controlled and narcotic drug policy and the institution's clinical procedures manual, and auditing their stock at the time of dispensing.

Participating in the implementation of procedures for the disposal of expired medicines and pharmaceuticals in line with the approved mechanism.

Conducting field inspections to ensure the ambulance medical team's compliance with procedures for the use and storage of medicines and pharmaceuticals.

Carrying out quarterly and annual inventory procedures for medicines and pharmaceuticals.

Participating in evaluating the quality and effectiveness of the medicines used.

Coordinating with relevant organizational units to ensure appropriate storage conditions for medicines in the pharmacy and institutional warehouses.

Maintaining pharmaceutical knowledge by attending educational workshops, conferences, reviewing professional publications, and participating in professional associations related to medicines and pharmaceuticals.

Complying with information security systems, policies, processes, and programs, and reporting any security breaches or suspicious incidents to the direct supervisor.

Performing any other tasks as per documented instructions.

Qualifications

Bachelor in Health science - Pharmacist


Diploma IN Pharmacist


For Bachelor - no required Experience


For Diploma - Minimum of 5 years of Experience in the same Field.
