Pharmacist
Job Description
Dispense prescription and over-the-counter medications in accordance with DHA regulations.
Counsel patients on medication usage, dosage, side effects, and storage.
Call patients to confirm prescription needs and follow up on adherence.
Submit and manage insurance approvals for prescribed medications.
Follow up with insurance companies on pending or rejected claims.
Maintain effective communication with insurance providers to resolve approval delays.
Ensure documentation complies with insurance regulator guidelines and standards.
Stay updated on insurance policies, formulary changes, and authorization procedures.
Coordinate and schedule deliveries to patients, ensuring timely and safe dispatch.
Track delivery status and follow up with patients post-delivery to ensure satisfaction.
Maintain accurate records of prescriptions, insurance transactions, and communications.
Report medication errors and adverse drug reactions as per DHA protocols.
Ensure compliance with DHA and insurance regulator audit requirements and standards.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: AED3,000.00 - AED5,000.00 per month
Ability to commute/relocate:
Dubai: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
