Job Description
Pharmacist (DHA License) We are looking for a DHA licensed Pharmacist to join our team in Dubai Herbal & Treatment Centre located in Dubai, UAE. The Dubai Herbal & Treatment Centre is a specialist center of Allopathic and Complementary and alternative medicine (CAM) established in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. Responsibilities:
- Provide assistance in the daily pharmaceutical operations including but not limited to preparation, double checking, labelling, appropriate distribution and delivery of medications in compliance with the specified local and international standards.
- Maintain pharmacy inventory by executing activities including but not limited to monitoring the pharmaceutical stock to determine the level of inventory supplies and required medications, placing and expediting pharmaceutical orders, verifying receipts and removing outdated drugs.
- Receive and store incoming deliveries of medication and supplies.
- Organize and merchandize the pharmacy OTC products in an efficient manner to ensure a smooth product identification process.
- Organize the pharmacy in an efficient manner to make the identification of products easier and faster
- Supplies patients with information and education on the products.
- Achieves sales targets by using sales techniques, up-selling and cross selling of the products.
- Advises customers on the selection of the products, supplements, skin care range.
- Develops strong working relationships with the customers.
- Handles daily operational tasks such as inventory management, expiry management. etc.
- Assist in executing the pharmacy related administrative activities such as filling prescriptions, typing labels and filing charge slips.
- Monitor and record the pharmacy temperature and humidity and performs inspections to ensure safe and secure storage conditions of pharmaceutical medications and supplies.
- Assists the pharmacy team in providing medication and pharmaceutical services to patients and relevant medical caregivers.
- Maintains required records of all pharmacy activities and develops incident reports in an accurate and timely manner.
- Candidate must be a BSc degree in pharmacy from a recognized University.
- At least to have 5 years full-time experience as a licensed pharmacist preferably 2 years\xe2\x80\x99 in UAE.
- Valid DHA License
- Should be Proficient with Microsoft Office Applications
- Commitment to continuous medicine education.
- Ability to work in multi-disciplinary team
- Ability to communicate effectively with patients, family, nurses and doctors
- Ability to project a positive and professional image of self, department and clinic.
- DHA Eligibility Letter or License (Preferred)
