Job Description

We are seeking a licensed and experienced Pharmacist to join our team in Al Ain. The Pharmacist will be responsible for dispensing medications, ensuring compliance with UAE Ministry of Health and DOH - Abu Dhabi regulations, and providing professional advice on the safe use of prescriptions and over-the-counter medicines.

Key Responsibilities:

Dispense prescription and non-prescription medications accurately and efficiently. Review prescriptions for accuracy, dosage, potential drug interactions, and patient safety. Counsel patients on proper use of medications, possible side effects, storage, and lifestyle advice. Maintain proper stock levels, conduct inventory checks, and manage expiry dates. Ensure compliance with DOH and UAE regulations regarding controlled and non-controlled drugs. Monitor and report any adverse drug reactions as per DOH guidelines. Maintain complete and accurate patient medication records. Supervise and guide pharmacy assistants or technicians when required. Stay updated with new medicines, medical devices, and pharmaceutical industry trends.

Qualifications & Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy (B.Pharm) or Pharm.D from a recognized university. Valid DOH Pharmacist license (or eligibility). Freshers with DOH eligibility will also be considered. Strong knowledge of pharmaceuticals, dosage forms, and medical terminology. Excellent communication skills in Arabic and English is must. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Customer service-oriented and able to work in a fast-paced environment.

Work Conditions:

Location: Al Ain, UAE. Shifts: May include evenings, weekends, or public holidays. Work setting: Retail Pharmacy.
