We are seeking a highly experienced professional to manage the procurement of pharmaceutical products and vaccines. The ideal candidate will have a strong network within the industry and direct experience sourcing from major pharmaceutical manufacturers (e.g., Pfizer, GSK, Sanofi, Novartis) or their official distributors.
Key Responsibilities:
Identify and establish procurement channels for a wide range of medicines and vaccines. Liaise directly with pharmaceutical companies and appointed distributors. Ensure compliance with relevant regulatory requirements (e.g., WHO PQS, GDP/GMP standards). Manage logistics, shipping documentation, and international supply chains. Oversee quotations, purchase orders, and supplier agreements.
Requirements:
Proven experience (5+ years) in pharmaceutical procurement or medical supply chain management. Existing relationships or contacts within major pharmaceutical companies or licensed distributors. Strong understanding of pharmaceutical regulations, cold chain requirements, and import/export processes. Ability to work independently and deliver under pressure.
Preferred:
Background in pharmacy, life sciences, public health, or supply chain. Experience working with NGOs, governments, or health organizations (e.g., UNICEF, WHO, MSF). Multilingual capabilities are a plus.
