Job Description

The Pest Control Technician is responsible for inspecting, identifying, and treating pest infestations in residential, commercial, and industrial settings. The role involves applying approved pest control methods, maintaining safety standards, and providing excellent customer service to ensure effective pest management and client satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:



Inspect properties and assess pest problems to determine the best course of action. Identify the type of pests and the extent of infestation. Apply appropriate pesticides, baits, traps, and other control methods safely and effectively. Follow all safety protocols and ensure compliance with local regulations and company policies. Educate customers on pest prevention techniques and future treatment recommendations. Prepare and maintain accurate service reports, treatment records, and inventory logs. Maintain and clean equipment, tools, and protective gear. Handle and store chemicals safely according to manufacturer instructions and safety guidelines. Respond promptly to customer service requests and follow up as needed. Attend training sessions to stay updated on pest control methods, products, and safety procedures.

Qualifications & Skills:



High school diploma or equivalent (technical or vocational training preferred). Valid pest control license or certification (as required by local regulations). Previous experience in pest control or a related field preferred. Knowledge of pest biology, pesticide application, and safety practices. Physical fitness and ability to work in various environments (indoor/outdoor, tight spaces, heights). Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills. Good communication and customer service skills.
