Job Description
Pest control technician duties and responsibilities A qualified pest control technician should be confident in their ability to handle multiple duties and responsibilities on any given workday. The primary responsibility of a pest control technician is to detect and eliminate unwelcome pests from homes and businesses. Some specific pest control technician duties include:
- Conducting thorough interior and exterior inspections to locate dangerous pests
- Offering sound advice on both chemical and natural pest control remediation options
- Providing estimates for one-time treatments and continual maintenance
- Setting traps for rodents
- Spraying perimeters of homes and structures for termites, ants and other insects
- Safe and efficient removal of wasp, hornet and bees nests
- Laying down bait pellets to eliminate rats and mice
- Covering holes with foam, mesh and wood to hinder rodent entry
- Recommending products and servicesfor effective pest control
- Reporting to Supervisor
- Doha: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
- High school or equivalent (Required)
- Pest Control Technician: 2 years (Required)
- English (Preferred)
- Qatar Valid light driving license (Required)
