About the Role:

We are a Muslim family seeking a skilled and trustworthy

Personal Chef

to prepare high-quality, nutritious meals in our private household. The ideal candidate is experienced, professional, and respectful of Islamic dietary laws and household customs. Familiarity with Halal food preparation and diverse cuisines (Middle Eastern, South Asian, Mediterranean, etc.) is preferred.

Responsibilities:

Plan and prepare daily meals for the family, ensuring all food is

Halal

Create weekly menus tailored to the family's preferences and dietary needs Cook a variety of cuisines (traditional and international), with a focus on flavor, nutrition, and presentation Shop for groceries or coordinate with household staff to ensure fresh, high-quality ingredients Maintain a clean, organized, and hygienic kitchen environment Prepare meals for special occasions, family gatherings, or guests as needed Respect privacy, cultural practices, and family routines

Requirements:

Prior experience as a personal or private chef, or in fine dining Knowledge of Halal dietary practices and food handling Ability to create both traditional and modern dishes Organized, punctual, and discreet Culinary training or certification preferred but not required Strong communication and planning skills Flexible with scheduling, especially during religious occasions (e.g., Ramadan, Eid) Occasional flexibility needed for events or family travel
