Position Overview
GMG is seeking a meticulous and experienced People Specialist (Offboarding) to oversee the complete employee exit lifecycle in alignment with UAE labor regulations and internal company standards. Based in Dubai, this role ensures smooth transitions for departing employees while maintaining compliance, accuracy, and professionalism across all offboarding activities, settlements, and documentation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the entire offboarding process including resignations, terminations, and contract completions.
  • Ensure compliance with UAE Labor Law and company HR policies in all exit procedures.
  • Accurately calculate end-of-service benefits (EOSB), final settlements, and statutory payments.
  • Collaborate with payroll, finance, and IT teams for the timely closure of employee accounts and benefits.
  • Prepare and issue all exit-related documentation such as clearance forms, service certificates, and NOCs.
  • Conduct exit interviews where applicable to capture feedback and improve employee experience.
  • Maintain accurate records of all offboarding cases within HR systems and employee files.
  • Coordinate with the PRO and Government Relations team for visa cancellation and legal formalities.
  • Generate periodic reports on attrition trends, compliance metrics, and process performance.
  • Contribute to HR process optimization and employee experience improvement initiatives.
Ideal Profile
  • Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
  • 4-5 years of UAE-based HR operations experience, specializing in offboarding or HR compliance.
  • Strong understanding of UAE Labor Law and gratuity/end-of-service calculation methods.
  • Proficiency with HR software systems; SAP and SuccessFactors experience preferred.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to manage sensitive employee exits.
  • Highly organized, accurate, and capable of handling multiple offboarding cases simultaneously.
  • Professional approach with a strong sense of confidentiality and integrity.
