Position Summary:

DeepSource Technologies is looking for a talented and detail-oriented Penetration Testing Specialist to join our cybersecurity team in Saudi Arabia (KSA). In this role, you will be responsible for identifying and exploiting vulnerabilities in our systems, applications, and networks to safeguard our organization against potential threats. Your expertise will play a critical role in enhancing our security posture and ensuring compliance with industry standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct comprehensive penetration testing on various systems, applications, and networks to identify vulnerabilities and weaknesses. Utilize a range of tools and techniques to simulate real-world attacks, including web applications, mobile applications, APIs, and infrastructure testing. Analyze and report findings, detailing vulnerabilities, potential impacts, and mitigation strategies to stakeholders. Work closely with development and operations teams to remediate identified vulnerabilities and improve security practices. Stay current with emerging security threats, vulnerabilities, and industry trends to enhance testing methodologies. Participate in security assessments, red teaming exercises, and threat modeling sessions. Provide training and knowledge-sharing sessions on secure coding practices and vulnerability management.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related field (or equivalent experience). 3+ years of professional experience in penetration testing and vulnerability assessment. Strong knowledge of penetration testing methodologies, tools (e.g., Burp Suite, Metasploit, Nmap), and scripting languages (Python, Bash). Experience with web applications, mobile applications, and network security assessments. Relevant certifications such as OSCP, CEH, or GPEN are preferred. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, along with attention to detail. Excellent communication skills to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
