Key Duties:
?Conduct routine maintenance and repairs on both petrol/diesel and electric vehicles (EVs), including brakes, suspension, batteries, air conditioning, and engine systems.
?Perform detailed diagnostics using OEM or universal diagnostic tools to identify faults and recommend corrective actions.
?Carry out pre-delivery inspections (PDIs) in accordance with OEM and dealership standards.
?Perform vehicle software updates, battery voltage checks, charging tests (for EVs), and functional testing of critical systems.
?Execute quality checks post-repair to ensure all works meet manufacturer standards.
Warehouse & Workshop Support
?Collaborate with warehouse teams to inspect incoming vehicles for transport damages or factory defects.
?Assist in the preparation of vehicles for showroom display or customer handover.
?Maintain tools, equipment, and diagnostic devices in proper working condition.
?Ensure all technical operations are recorded in the job card or ERP system (e.g., SAP/Oracle).
?Follow all safety protocols for high-voltage systems in EVs and hazardous materials handling.
?Document all repair findings, parts replacements, and service details accurately.
?Report any recurring issues, defects, or parts shortages to the Workshop Supervisor.
?Adhere to standard operating procedures (SOPs), manufacturer guidelines, and ISO/QA compliance requirements.
