Payroll Specialist (oracle Fusion)

\xe2\x80\x8bCharterhouse is working with a Logistics organisation who is looking to hire a Payroll Officer. Our client is looking to hire candidates with Oracle Fusion experience. This position will be supporting the Middle East Offices from their Dubai location and will work closely with the HR Manager and be responsible for the Performance Review Cycle of employees.
About the role
This role will involve managing the complete payroll process and will require working independently covering entities across all countries where our client operates. The Payroll Specialist will be responsible for the monthly payroll of 2,000+ employees ensuring accurate and timely payroll, including but not limited to entering validated payroll instructions into a payroll system, running system calculations and validating the output before timely submission to finance payroll for signoff.
The role will be responsible for the end-of-year service settlements, new joiners / exiting staff, annual merit increases and bonus management. Responsibilities will also include preparing bonus calculations whilst working closely with line managers and the reward teams with regard to merit data. Additionally, the Payroll Specialist will act as the main point of contact for and managing medical / life insurance as well as administering data to employees.
About you
To be considered for this role, the successful candidate must have at least 3-5 years\' experience in a similar role with excellent knowledge of the UAE Labour Law, social security compliance and payroll processing with a minimum of 2 years\' experience in the Middle East. Experience in HR preferably within Oil & Gas, Engineering, Shipping or a similar sector will be beneficial for this role.
The candidate must have a professional and personable approach with attention to detail and exceptional organisational skills. Handling diverse and confidential situations with confidence whilst multi-tasking under demanding deadline is key to succeed in this role.
