About The Job

Collect, verify, and process all payroll-related data, including timesheets, attendance records, bonuses, and commissions. Input payroll data into the company's payroll system accurately and efficiently. Calculate net salaries, taxes, and statutory and voluntary deductions (e.g., social security, retirement funds, insurance, etc.). Ensure all payroll operations comply with federal, state, and local labor laws and tax regulations. Prepare and submit all required payroll-related reports to government agencies on time. Assist in internal and external payroll audits. Maintain and update employee records, ensuring confidentiality and data integrity. Address and resolve employee inquiries regarding payroll, deductions, and tax matters. Provide clear and detailed explanations of pay slip components. Liaise with the HR department to ensure new hires, terminations, and changes in employee status are reflected accurately in the payroll system. Reconcile payroll data with general ledger accounts. Prepare and process electronic salary transfers and cheque payments. Manage and clear salary advances and other employee settlements.
