Payroll Officer

to join our dynamic HR team.

Job Summary:

The Payroll Officer will be responsible for managing end-to-end payroll processing for a large, diverse workforce. This role requires hands-on experience with

manual payroll processing

, a high level of accuracy, and the ability to handle

high-volume

transactions while ensuring full compliance with UAE labor laws and internal company policies.

Key Responsibilities:

Process and manage monthly payroll for a high number of employees across multiple entities within the group Handle end-to-end payroll activities including attendance, overtime, deductions, incentives, final settlements, and off-cycle payments Maintain and update employee records related to compensation, benefits, and leave balances Ensure accuracy and timeliness of salary disbursement Coordinate with HR, finance, and other departments for data collection and issue resolution Manage WPS submissions and ensure compliance with UAE Wage Protection System regulations Generate payroll reports and provide analysis as required Reconcile payroll data and prepare monthly journal entries for the finance team Ensure adherence to company policies and UAE labor laws Address employee queries regarding salaries, deductions, and payslips in a timely manner

Requirements:

Minimum 3-5 years of payroll experience, preferably in a

large-scale or group environment

Proven experience in

manual payroll processing

and high-volume transactions Strong knowledge of UAE labor laws, WPS, and end-of-service calculations Proficient in MS Excel; experience with HRMS or payroll software is a plus High attention to detail and accuracy Excellent communication and organizational skills Ability to handle confidential information with integrity
