Payroll Manager

Job Description
We are looking for a responsible Payroll Manager to oversee the entire payroll process, including accurate and timely payments, managing employee records, ensuring compliance with Qatar's labor laws and tax regulations, and generating reports for management. Key duties include using payroll software, coordinating with HR and finance departments, handling payroll tax and benefits calculations, and managing final settlements for resigned employees.
Core responsibilities:
Payroll processing:
Manage the end-to-end payroll cycle, including calculating salaries, bonuses, and deductions, and ensuring all payments are made accurately and on time.Compliance:
Ensure all payroll activities comply with Qatar's labor laws, regulations, and tax requirements, including processing via the Wage Protection System (WPS).Employee record management:
Maintain accurate and confidential employee records, managing updates for new hires, terminations, and changes in employment status.Payroll system management:
Oversee and troubleshoot the payroll system, ensuring data integrity and security.Reporting:
Generate and analyze payroll reports for management, and prepare monthly journal entries.Final settlements:
Process final settlements for employees who have resigned.Key skills and knowledge
Proficiency in payroll software and HRIS systems. Strong knowledge of Qatar's payroll system, including WPS. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for collaborating with HR, finance, and employees. High attention to detail and accuracy. Understanding of accounting principles and financial regulations.
