Job Overview: To ensure a smooth and efficient operation in the Payroll & Cash Control functions in line with the overall Finance policies and procedures. This role ensures the timely and accurate payment of Salaries and employees benefits as well as enforcing controls for the safeguarding of Cash and Cash equivalents across all assets in the organization Job Scope:
Manages Cash Control operations, including overseeing in-park audits, collections, refunds, cash movement, vault replenishment and foreign exchange conversions.
Ensures timely and accurate Payroll payments, related employee benefits, final settlement, and Pensions.
Prepares Payroll & Cash Control weekly/monthly reports including management review packs, balance sheet schedules and GL reconciliations to review with the Manager.
Reviews and analyses expense claim & advance settlements, overtime, holiday movement, overage & shortages, petty cash and vault movements, and refunds.
Ensures Payroll bank account and Park Vaults are timely and adequately funded to meet payment obligations.
Identifies and suggests areas of improvement to enhance efficiency and productivity.
Assists the Manager in developing and implementing Payroll & Cash Control operating procedures and policies for better controls and integrity.
Acts as the key point of contact for the internal and external audits.
Liaise with internal departments, external stakeholders, and partners to ensure issues are resolved timely and amicably.
Ensure to bring to the Manager\xe2\x80\x99s attention any discrepancy or potential risk.
Manages the training development, and performance appraisals for the Cash Control team.
Assist the Manager in ad-hoc requests, reports and projects as and when required
To be considered for this role you will need to:
Have a bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree in a Finance, Accounting or HR related field.
Have minimum 5 years\xe2\x80\x99 experience working in Payroll, Finance, or Cash Management.
Have minimum 5 years\xe2\x80\x99 experience managing others.
Skills in:
Maintaining strictest of confidentiality.
Highest attention to detail and analytical skills
Good communication and interpersonal skills
Knowledge of the U.A.E Labor Law
High level of skills in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook & Teams
Experience working with the Oracle ERP Application, KRONOS, OMNI, IG.
Knowledge of IFRS accounting standards
