Job Overview
As a Payment Officer in the Marketing team, you will be responsible for coordinating with external vendors, internal marketing stakeholders, and finance teams to facilitate accurate and efficient payment processing. Your understanding of advertising platforms, marketing cost structures, and ERP tools will be crucial in ensuring seamless financial operations.
Key Responsibilities

• Process and track payment requests for marketing vendors, media agencies, and campaign-related services
• Coordinate with external vendors for timely submission of invoices and supporting documents
• Liaise with the internal marketing team for documentation and payment application approvals
• Collaborate with the QS team to verify certifications and budget alignment for marketing expenses
• Maintain accurate logs of payment submissions, approvals, and disbursement statuses
• Regularly update the payment control manager or commercial manager regarding pending and cleared payments
• Ensure timely processing of payments through coordination with the finance department
• Comply with internal accounting policies and audit standards

Job Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
• Minimum 5 years of payment processing experience, preferably in advertising, media, or marketing environments
• Experience in working with financial systems such as XPEDION or SAP
• High proficiency in MS Excel and digital invoice tracking
• Sound knowledge of basic accounting principles and marketing payment structures
• Valid UAE driving license is mandatory
