Job Summary

We are seeking experienced

Payment Channel Development Managers

to join our growing team. This role will focus on expanding and optimizing payment channels. You'll lead local partnerships, drive negotiations, ensure regulatory compliance, and deliver seamless payment solutions tailored to each market.

Key Responsibilities

Market Strategy & Research

: Analyze payment ecosystems (e.g., UPI, Paytm, JazzCash, bKash, Nagad) including regulations, banking networks, e-wallets, and mobile payments.

Payment Channel Expansion

: Establish and maintain partnerships with local payment providers, banks, fintechs, and telecom operators.

Business Negotiation

: Lead contract negotiations covering rates, settlement cycles, and technical integration.

Cross-Department Collaboration

: Coordinate with technical and product teams for API integrations; assist marketing in payment strategy localization.

Data-Driven Optimization

: Monitor performance metrics (e.g., success/rejection rates), generate competitor insights, and recommend improvements.

Candidate Requirements

3+ years of business development experience in the payment industry Deep understanding of the payments landscapes. Proven success in payment partnerships (e.g., local wallets, cross-border solutions) Skilled in negotiations and contract management Technically proficient in payment integrations (e.g., API, QR code payments) Fluent in English; knowledge of local languages is a plus Willing to travel frequently; strong cross-cultural communication skills Results-driven and comfortable working under pressure

Bonus Qualifications

Background in fintech, international remittance, or cross-border e-commerce Existing local network with banks, telecom operators, or government bodies
