The Paymaster is responsible for managing and processing the hotel's payroll accurately and on time using WebPayTrax. This role ensures full compliance with UAE labor laws, internal policies, and hotel standards. The ideal candidate should have prior experience in the hospitality industry and a deep understanding of payroll procedures, employee benefits, and statutory deductions.
Key Responsibilities:
Accurately process monthly payroll for all hotel employees using
WebPayTrax
.
Ensure timely collection, verification, and processing of attendance, overtime, and leave records in coordination with HR.
Reconcile payroll data with time and attendance systems and prepare final pay statements.
Maintain payroll records and reports, ensuring data accuracy and confidentiality.
Process employee salaries, end-of-service benefits, gratuities, and final settlements.
Ensure compliance with all statutory and regulatory requirements, including WPS and GOSI (if applicable).
Coordinate with HR for new joiners, resignations, and employee status changes.
Prepare payroll-related journal entries for Finance and reconcile payroll accounts monthly.
Respond to payroll-related queries from employees in a timely and professional manner.
Generate and submit periodic payroll reports and analysis to management.
Assist in preparing data for audits and internal controls related to payroll.
Requirements:
Minimum 3 years of experience as a
Paymaster
or similar role in a
4-star or 5-star hotel
.
Proficiency in
WebPayTrax
or any other hotel payroll system (e.g., Oasys, Oracle, SAP HR).
Strong understanding of UAE labor laws, wage protection system (WPS), and payroll compliance.
Excellent knowledge of MS Excel and financial reporting tools.
High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
Discreet and trustworthy with the ability to handle confidential information.
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, HR, or a related field is preferred.
