Position Overview
Al-Futtaim Health is seeking a Patient Relations Executive to support daily clinic operations and deliver a seamless, professional patient experience. Role Summary
The Patient Relations Executive acts as the first point of contact for patients, ensuring smooth coordination between medical staff, insurance providers, and billing teams. The role focuses on accurate medical coding, insurance claim processing, invoicing, customer support, and cash management, contributing directly to a positive and well-organized clinic environment.
Key Responsibilities
Medical Insurance
Manage accurate flow of patient medical information between physicians, patients, and third-party payers
Apply medical coding protocols for diagnostics, treatments, and procedures
Liaise with insurance companies to submit, track, and follow up on claims
Review patient medical records to ensure compliance and accuracy
Coordinate with billing specialists to confirm correct treatment and procedure codes
Medical Invoicing
Prepare and issue invoices based on agreed pricing and approved CPT codes
Assemble reimbursement claims and maintain complete billing documentation
Bill patients accurately and resolve invoicing or payment discrepancies
Organize, manage, and maintain patient charts and billing records
Ensure confidentiality of all patient and financial information
Customer Service
Provide professional, empathetic, and efficient service to patients and visitors
Manage appointments, clinic flow, and front-desk coordination
Assist patients with documentation, consent forms, and general inquiries
Respond promptly to urgent patient needs and concerns
Support safety initiatives and contribute to process improvements
Cash Handling
Handle cash, card, and insurance payments and issue receipts
Maintain accurate income records and reconcile daily cash drawers
Ensure secure handling of cash and timely transfer of funds
Prepare basic financial reports and support supplier payment processes
Process refunds in line with clinic policies and approvals
Ideal Profile
Graduate degree holder in any discipline
Minimum 2 years of experience in healthcare insurance, invoicing, customer service, or cash handling
Strong understanding of medical insurance processes and billing workflows
Ability to manage multiple administrative tasks in a fast-paced clinic environment
Skills Set
Medical insurance coding and invoicing knowledge
Strong customer service and communication skills
Accuracy in cash handling and basic financial reporting
Good computer literacy and attention to detail
Ability to maintain patient confidentiality and comply with healthcare regulations
