Job Overview
The role is responsible for ensuring smooth front-desk operations, patient registration, insurance claim processing, accurate invoicing, and effective customer service in line with clinic standards. The position also includes daily financial reconciliation, supporting clinical workflow, and maintaining compliance with healthcare procedures.
Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate insurance approvals and documentation with third-party payers
• Submit medical claims and follow up on denials or discrepancies
• Code and verify diagnostic and procedure codes for billing accuracy
• Ensure CPT codes align with medical services rendered
• Prepare invoices and billing statements as per clinic pricing agreements
• Maintain complete and accurate records in patient and financial systems
• Assist patients with queries related to services, insurance, and payments
• Maintain professional communication across departments and with patients
• Ensure all cash, card, and insurance transactions are processed and recorded
• Reconcile cash drawers and prepare financial reports for accounts team
• Manage refund requests and ensure required approvals are in place
• Maintain confidentiality and accuracy in patient records and documentation
• Support front desk duties including appointment scheduling and client reception
• Guide patient flow and ensure paperwork is completed before consultations
• Respond to urgent patient needs and direct inquiries to appropriate staff
• Recommend process improvements and participate in safety protocols

Reporting & MIS

• Generate daily income reports and assist in maintaining accurate financial records
• Enter claims and financial activity into internal systems and verify completeness

Financial Management

• Ensure cash, credit, and insurance billing align with clinic revenue policies
• Track incoming payments and prepare deposit summaries for accounting team

Governance & Standards

• Adhere to cash handling, billing, and confidentiality protocols
• Implement clinic safety and patient information protection guidelines

Job Requirements

• Minimum 2 years' experience in healthcare billing, insurance, or patient service roles
• Bachelor's degree in any stream
• Familiar with UAE medical insurance processes and cash desk management
• Strong verbal and written English skills; Arabic is a plus
• Excellent computer literacy, including clinic software and MS Office tools
• Detail-oriented with good organizational and problem-solving abilities
• Ability to multitask in a patient-centric, busy clinic setting
