Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct and supervise various diagnostic tests and procedures such as tissue biopsies, blood tests, and cytology examinations to identify and diagnose illnesses and diseases.
- Analyze and interpret test results, and collaborate with other medical professionals to determine the correct course of treatment for patients.
- Supervise the work of medical laboratory technicians and technologists to ensure accuracy and quality control of test results.
- Communicate test results and diagnoses to physicians and other healthcare professionals in a timely and efficient manner.
- Keep up-to-date with the latest developments in pathology and collaborate with other professionals to improve diagnostic techniques and methodologies.
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of patients\' medical history and test results, adhering to strict confidentiality and privacy regulations.
Requirements:
- Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree and a valid medical license.
- Board certification in Anatomic Pathology and Clinical Pathology.
- Minimum of 3 years\' experience as a practicing Pathologist.
- In-depth knowledge of human anatomy and various disease processes.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proven ability to work under pressure and manage a heavy workload.
- Proficient in the use of medical software and electronic health record systems.
