PURPOSE OF POSITION
Support pastry production operations in our central production kitchen, ensuring consistent quality preparation of pastry items, desserts, and baked goods while maintaining high standards of food safety and hygiene in accordance with UAE regulations.
KEY ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Assist in the preparation and production of pastries, desserts, and baked goods according to standardized recipes
Execute basic pastry techniques, including mixing, kneading, rolling, and shaping under supervision
Operate pastry equipment safely, including mixers, ovens, and specialized tools
Maintain food safety standards and HACCP compliance per UAE Municipality regulations
Ensure proper ingredient storage, rotation, and inventory management
Clean and sanitize work areas, equipment, and tools according to schedules
Monitor product quality and report issues to supervisors
Collaborate effectively with pastry team and other kitchen departments
Maintain production records and assist with daily inventory counts

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
Culinary diploma/certificate or equivalent practical experience
Minimum 1-2 years in pastry production or commercial baking; high-volume production kitchen experience preferred
Food safety certification
Basic pastry knowledge, equipment operation, recipe following, inventory management systems
