Assist senior pastry chefs in preparing ingredients for daily production (measuring, mixing, portioning, etc.).
Support in the preparation, baking, and finishing of cakes, pastries, tarts, cookies, mousses, and other desserts.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the pastry workstation, tools, and storage areas in compliance with food safety standards.
Ensure proper storage of ingredients and finished products (temperature control, labeling, FIFO).
Assist in decorating and garnishing desserts as instructed by the Pastry Chef.
Monitor baking processes and report any inconsistencies or product issues to senior chefs.
Follow standard recipes, portion sizes, and presentation guidelines to maintain product consistency.
Operate and clean pastry kitchen equipment (mixers, sheeters, ovens, chillers, etc.) safely.
Support in stock rotation and inventory control for pastry ingredients and supplies.
Uphold kitchen hygiene, sanitation, and personal grooming standards at all times.
