We believe every plate tells a story. So, we\xe2\x80\x99re searching for a Pastry Chef involved in designing, executing, and presenting a range of visually appealing and delectable baked products. Behind the scenes, you\xe2\x80\x99ll ensure quality, maintain high standards and keep the kitchen running smoothly.
A little taste of your day-to-day:
Every day is different, but you\xe2\x80\x99ll mostly be:
- Develop and create new pastry recipes, desserts, and bread
- Prepare a range of pastries, cakes, pies, and other baked goods
- Ensure the quality and consistency of all baked products
- Decorate and present pastries and desserts in an appealing manner
- Manage inventory and ordering of baking supplies and ingredients
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen and work area
- Train and supervise the pastry team
- Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations
What We need from you:
- Proven experience as a Pastry Chef or in a similar role
- A degree in culinary arts or equivalent
- Excellent knowledge of baking techniques and ingredients
- Experience in pastry decoration and presentation
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to lead and train a team
