Pastry Chef (Asian & Japanese Desserts Specialist)
We are looking for a skilled and creative Pastry Chef with a strong background in Asian and Japanese desserts. The ideal candidate must have a minimum of 2 years of experience in pastry preparation, dessert presentation, and modern Asian sweet techniques.
Responsibilities:
Prepare and develop a variety of Asian and Japanese desserts (mochi, dorayaki, taiyaki, matcha-based pastries, etc.)
Maintain high standards of quality, taste, and presentation
Create new dessert items and seasonal specials
Ensure proper storage, hygiene, and food safety practices
Work efficiently with the kitchen team and maintain production schedules
Requirements:
Minimum 2 years of experience as a Pastry Chef (preferably in Asian/Japanese cuisine)
Strong knowledge of pastry techniques, doughs, fillings, and modern dessert trends
Creativity, attention to detail, and consistency
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
Good communication and teamwork skills
