We are seeking a talented and experienced Pastry Chef with a strong background in French pastry to join our team in Bahrain. The ideal candidate should be passionate, creative, detail-oriented, and capable of producing high-quality artisan desserts. You will be responsible for leading pastry production, ensuring consistency, and contributing to menu innovation. Key Responsibilities: . Prepare and produce a wide range of French pastries including but not limited to tarts, macarons, choux aEURetc . Maintain consistency in taste, quality, and presentation across all pastry items. . Develop new recipes and seasonal menu items in alignment with the brandaEUR(TM)s concept. . Manage daily pastry kitchen operations, including mise en place, production schedules, and inventory. . Monitor food safety and hygiene standards in accordance with local regulations. . Train and supervise junior kitchen staff and ensure skill development. . Collaborate with the head chef and management team for planning and product development. . Control portion sizes and minimize waste to maintain cost-effectiveness. . Ensure timely production for service and special orders. Requirements: . Proven experience as a Pastry Chef or Sous Chef specializing in French pastry. . Culinary degree or formal pastry training from a recognized institution (preferred). . Strong knowledge of baking techniques, classic French methods, and modern pastry trends. . Excellent organizational and leadership skills. . Ability to work under pressure and in a fast-paced environment. . Fluent in English; knowledge of French is a plus. Please send your resume/CV
