Duties

Prepare and bake a variety of pastries, cakes, and desserts according to established recipes. Decorate cakes and pastries with artistic flair, ensuring presentation meets our quality standards. Package finished products for sale or catering events, maintaining attention to detail in presentation. Assist with food preparation tasks as needed, including measuring ingredients and mixing batters. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen workspace, adhering to food safety regulations. Collaborate with the culinary team to develop new pastry items and seasonal offerings. Provide excellent customer service when interacting with clients or during catering events.

Skills

Proven pastry experience with a strong foundation in baking techniques. Proficient in cake decorating and presentation skills. Knowledge of food handling practices and food safety regulations. Strong culinary experience with an emphasis on the food industry. Excellent knife skills for precise cutting and preparation of ingredients. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment while maintaining quality standards. Previous experience in catering or restaurant settings is preferred but not required.
