Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and bake fresh pastries, desserts, and bread daily.
Create visually appealing and delicious baked items for display and special orders.
Develop new menu items and seasonal specials in line with the cafe's style.
Maintain a clean and organized pastry station, following food safety and hygiene standards.
Manage inventory and ensure all baking supplies are stocked.
Coordinate with baristas and kitchen staff to ensure smooth daily operations.
Assist in training junior kitchen staff, if needed.
Requirements:
Previous experience as a Pastry Chef, ideally in a cafe..
Strong knowledge of baking techniques and food safety practices.
Creativity and a passion for presentation and quality.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Flexibility to work mornings, weekends, and holidays.
