Position Overview:
We are seeking a talented and innovative Pastry Chef to join our culinary team. Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute a diverse menu of healthy pastries and desserts that meet dietary requirements.
- Use alternative ingredients to create tasty, nutritious options such as gluten-free flours, natural sweeteners, and plant-based substitutes.
- Be abke to work independently
-Maintain a clean, organized kitchen environment, adhering to food safety and hygiene regulations.
- Experiment with new recipes and techniques to stay current with industry trends in healthy baking.
- Assist in inventory management, including ordering and sourcing ingredients.
- Provide exceptional customer service and education about product ingredients and dietary benefits.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Pastry Chef or in a similar role, preferably in a health-conscious environment.
- Knowledge of various dietary restrictions and how to effectively cater to them.
- Strong understanding of baking techniques and ingredient properties.
- Creative mindset with a passion for healthy eating and innovative pastry art.
