Develop and test new dessert recipes in line with customer preferences and seasonal trends.
Decorate and present pastries and desserts in an aesthetically pleasing and creative manner.
Ensure consistency in quality, taste, and appearance of all baked items.
Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in the kitchen, complying with health and safety regulations.
Manage inventory of baking ingredients and supplies, placing orders when necessary.
Supervise and train junior kitchen staff, bakers, and assistants in pastry preparation techniques.
Collaborate with the executive chef and other departments to design dessert menus for events or special occasions.
Monitor baking schedules and ensure timely production during peak hours.
Control food costs and minimize waste through proper portioning and storage practices.
